The scanner reads the name from the top left box and the collector number from the bottom left box.
If the number isn't in its box, the scanner searches the bottom of the card for it and moves the box there on its own.
You can also drag a box to move it, or drag its corner dot to resize. Changes save on their own.

Claude looks at the card photo and reads the name and number like a person would. Your key stays in this browser on this computer and is sent only to Anthropic. Get a key at console.anthropic.com.
Setup for the best accuracy
- Use a plain dark mat or black paper. The green outline means the card was found and straightened.
- Mount the webcam 8 to 12 inches straight above. The card should fill about half the picture.
- Light from the side, not straight on, so holo foil and sleeves don't flash white.
- Any angle or rotation is fine, even upside down. Just keep the whole card in view.
- Raw cards and penny sleeves read best. Toploaders glare.
- Unsure reads are never logged on their own. You pick from the candidates or type it in.
